LED Lighting Expansion 

 

The Town of Aurora converted its street lighting to LED technology in 2019 and saw significant energy and cost savings. LED Street lighting is known to use about 65% less energy than traditional street lighting. The Town hopes to expand LED lighting conversion to other outdoor lighting needs.  Converting all outdoor lighting to LED, as well as eliminating unnecessary lighting, will help to further reduce energy costs and consumption.
